Ben's Finally Done!

Ben finished his MBA in December, but Utah State's graduation wasn't until the first week of May. We kept feeling like it wouldn't feel official until he walked and received that diploma.

An Executive MBA is not for the faint of heart. Ben would leave at 7a.m., then leave from work to the Kaysville campus at 4:30 and would not come home from class until 10 p.m. almost every Tuesday and Thursday for two years. On nights he didn't have class, he had lots of homework and, many nights, group work (not to mention church meetings, yard work, and other life stuff). It was pretty lonely from my vantage point, but I am so glad he loved his program and learning other points of view from other professionals. Education is so important, and we feel so blessed he was able to accomplish this!

While Ben was doing his Executive MBA through Utah State, my brother completed the one-year, full-time MBA program through Utah State, which meant they were able to walk together for graduation! We absolutely loved Seth, Leslie and Chase living in Logan for a year--having dinners, Leslie teaching me crafts, having fun times with Chase, and more; we were sad to find out the week of graduation that we were losing them to a wonderful career opportunity in Southern California but are so happy for them!
